Happy School Year!
Thank you for visiting our site. This is my first year teaching in Abbotsford and I am overjoyed to be returning to the district, and many of the smiling faces I remember when I walked these halls as a student. I graduated from Abbotsford High School. Aside from a short stint in Texas, I have resided in the area my entire life. I received my degree in Education from The University of Wisconsin Stevens-Point. I teach Eighth-Grade English as well as High School Composition and Literature.
I bring ten years of teaching experience with me, the last six at a private school in Eau Claire. I also bring with me a Therapy/Service dog named Pickles. Pickles is a Newfoundland/Great Pyrenees that has one year of cuddling, calming, and petting experience obtained from the entire student body while sharing my classroom in Eau Claire. A link, found in the navigation bar to the left, will redirect you to a student-created slideshow about Pickles.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns. I will respond as soon as I am able. Thank you for understanding that Pickles and I are working with students all day and rarely have time to respond during school hours.
