Classroom Naming Rights

Abby Building Project

Abbotsford School District Building Project Naming Rights

The Board of Education is inviting the community to acquire naming rights to either or both of the two building projects to be completed this coming spring and summer in preparation for the 2018-2019 school year.

As previously communicated, the School District of Abbotsford will be adding four classrooms to the current Elementary eastern wing and two classrooms to the Middle School southeast wing. These rooms have become necessary as our student population continues to grow. Additionally, the district continues to focus efforts on instructional initiatives to grow student achievement and prepare our students for a future in the workplace, whether through post-secondary educational opportunities, the military, or directly into the work force.

In 2008-2009 the Board of Education invited the community to participate in acquiring naming rights to the new elementary, elementary library, new gymnasium, etc. When donating toward projects in this way, your organization's name, its founder, or a family member is memorialized in such a way that all those who pass through the halls or individual spaces for years to come is reminded of those who have gone before to ensure their education.

Would you individually or in collaboration with others consider donating toward one or both projects to recognize a local business, loved one, or other designation? If so, please consider one of the following levels of donations and their corresponding designations:
• Furnishing an Individual Classroom (Interior Classroom Memorial) $ 20,000
• Individual Classroom (Entrance to Room Memorial) $ 50,000
• Hallway Memorial (Elementary School Wing) $ 75,000
• Hallway Memorial (Middle School Wing) $ 75,000
• Entire Wing Entrance (Elementary or Middle School) $100,000
• Entire Project of Six Classrooms $250,000

Note: All levels of donations will be considered by the Board of Education. The School District of Abbotsford is committed to adding on to the existing building without going to referendum or taking out a loan. Please join us in this much needed endeavor.
