Lori Huther has been the School Counselor for the School District of Abbotsford since 2005.  She is originally from Medford and graduated from Medford High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  She earned her Masters of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.  

She had previously worked with the Hurley School District as their middle school counselor and Edgar School District as their middle/high school counselor.  Her family lives in Abbotsford and her daughter is excited to be a 8th-grade student at Abbotsford Middle School this year.

Jessica Wozniak

Jessica Wozniak is the Elementary School Counselor for the Abbotsford School District. She is originally from Ridgecrest California and graduated from Burroughs High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from San Jose State University. She earned her Masters of Science in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

Mrs. Wozniak had previously worked for Rib Lake Elementary and Middle school. Her family lives in Stetsonville and they enjoy being together outside, watching movies, playing games, and spending time with their two cats and dog. She is very excited to be a part of the Abbotsford School Districts Team.

In the event of virtual school days, I am available to meet with students from 9am-10am, and 12pm-1pm. My google meet link is https://meet.google.com/kwy-iogp-htn

Patrick Leichtnam

Patrick Leichtnam is our School Resource Officer and a Licensed Social Worker.  He has been a police officer since 1999.  In 2018 he started working for the Abbotsford and Colby School Districts.  He graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.  He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.   He also earned his Social Work License from Silver Lake College.

Patrick grew up in Colby and graduated from Colby High School.  He currently resides in Colby.

Hello! I am an Abbotsford School District graduate, and this marks my sixth year working within the district. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Marian University. Additionally, I am a licensed social worker in the state of Wisconsin.

 

As a pupil service navigator, I am dedicated to advocating for the well-being and success of every student. I work collaboratively with families, teachers, and community resources to ensure students have the tools they need to thrive academically and personally. My commitment is to empower students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

¡Hola! Soy graduada del Distrito Escolar de Abbotsford, y este es mi sexto año trabajando en el distrito. Tengo una Licenciatura en Ciencias en Trabajo Social y una Licenciatura en Artes en Psicología, ambas de Marian University. Además, soy trabajadora social licenciada en el estado de Wisconsin.

Como navegadora de servicios estudiantiles, me dedico a abogar por el bienestar y el éxito de cada estudiante. Trabajo en colaboración con las familias, los maestros y los recursos comunitarios para asegurar que los estudiantes tengan las herramientas necesarias para prosperar tanto académicamente como personalmente. Mi compromiso es empoderar a los estudiantes para que superen desafíos y alcancen su máximo potencial.
