Superintendent Message

Thank you for visiting our website!

I am excited to serve as the District Administrator in our amazing district.  Prior to this role, I served the district as middle/high school principal for seven years.  I received my bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in Technology Education (2001) and my master's degree from Marian University in Educational Leadership in (2014).  I completed my superintendent licensure program through Marian University (2019).  I have previously taught Technology and Engineering Education (TEE) in the Kimberly and Athens school districts. 

My wife, Brooke, and I have three children.  Blake is a freshman at UW-River Falls, Tatum is in 12th grade at Abbotsford High School and Gabriela is in 3rd grade at Abbotsford Elementary School.  Abbotsford is a great place to raise a family!

The School District of Abbotsford is a place with many great things happening.  Abbotsford Elementary School features a K-5 dual language program.  The elementary school also features a grant funded 3K program that utilizes LENA Start.  Abbotsford Middle/Senior High School offers an outstanding variety of Dual Credit classes for students seeking leg up on post secondary schooling and an ever expanding Youth Apprenticeship program for those going into the workforce or onto school.  Our district also offers before and after school programming to our families.

We are fortunate to have a great school-community relationship.  We have funded numerous opportunities through grants and community support.  Examples include; 2022 and 2024 capital referendums, swimming pool remodel, new football press box, all inclusive playground addition, and school forest in the last four years alone.  We are gracious to all of those that support our school!

We are truly a district with excellent staff, programs, and student achievement!
