Thank you for visiting our website!
I am excited to serve as the District Administrator in our amazing district. Prior to this role, I served the district as middle/high school principal for seven years. I received my bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in Technology Education (2001) and my master's degree from Marian University in Educational Leadership in (2014). I completed my superintendent licensure program through Marian University (2019). I have previously taught Technology and Engineering Education in the Kimberly and Athens school districts.
My wife, Brooke, and I have three children. Blake is in 11th grade at Abbotsford High School, Tatum is in 10th grade at Abbotsford High School and Gabriela is in 1st grade at Abbotsford Elementary School. Abbotsford is a great place to raise a family!
The School District of Abbotsford is a place with many great things happening. Abbotsford Elementary School features a K-5 dual language program. The elementary school was also recently recognized by the Wisconsin RTI Center and the DPI for our Multi-Level Systems and Supports, receiving a silver rating in math and bronze rating in English. Abbotsford Middle/Senior High school has received the Title I School of Recognition award for 15 consecutive years. We broke ground in August for a $6.5 million dollar addition that will house three 4K classrooms, a 4K collaboration area, multipurpose gymnasium, and a large conference room. This building will be a FEMA safe room. In the event of an emergency, the community will have access to shelter. This building was supported in part by a FEMA grant, donation, a community referendum, and the district saving money for multiple years to be applied toward it. We are truly a district with excellent staff, programs, and student achievement!
