FEAHS Closed

Dear Parents & Student of Falcon Enterprises Alternative High School (FEAHS),

In the midst of school closures due to the recent outbreak of Covid-19, I hope that you will find this information useful as to how students will continue to receive educational services during this time of school closure from Tuesday, March 17th with an anticipated return date of Monday, April 6th.

Students at FEAHS will continue with their current online courses by logging into a personal device at home. Students from Colby school district have been advised to pick up and use their assigned Chromebook if needed. Students should log into their online courses daily and work for the same amount of time as they would if they were in attendance at FEAHS. Students may break up this time in increments to encourage productivity. FEAHS is able to monitor student login and activity so if needed, parents will be contacted to notify if there has been no activity. Students who do not have internet access at home will be given packets and print out of assignments.

Communication during this time is highly encouraged and I plan on being available to you through a variety of means. Please do not hesitate to contact me anytime through email, call, text, or video conference. I will also be using a video recording service through Screencastify to help reteach and clarify any questions regarding assignment expectations. I will also do my best to reteach and explain concepts as needed via video recording. I can also supplement in addition to support and resources within the online courses to encourage further comprehension of challenging concepts. I plan to get back to your requests and questions ASAP. I will keep track of progress and completion daily but please let me know if you are nearing completion of a course and need to be enrolled in a new one.

I appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate education services outside of the school district. I encourage and hope everyone that you and your families stay healthy during this time. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Halpin

Falcon Enterprises Alternative Instructor
